Ordering & Prescriptions
To order prescription medicine, first find the product on our site and add it to your cart. During checkout, you will be prompted to upload a clear photo or scan of your valid South African prescription. Our pharmacy team will review it before dispensing your order. Ensure your prescription is valid and signed by a registered South African healthcare practitioner.
You can upload your prescription during the checkout process. We accept clear photos or scanned copies (PDF, JPG, PNG). Alternatively, you can email it to prescriptions@onlynpharmacy.co.za with your order number, or use our dedicated secure upload link provided after placing your order. Please ensure the image is legible.
While we initially process your order with a clear digital copy, South African regulations may require the original prescription to be kept on file by the dispensing pharmacy. Our partner pharmacy will provide instructions if they need you to mail the original script.
We accept various secure payment methods including Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer), and potentially other popular South African payment gateways. All available options will be shown during checkout.
Yes. OnlynPharmacy is a marketplace platform connecting you with registered South African pharmacies. All dispensing is done by licensed pharmacists according to SAPC (South African Pharmacy Council) regulations. We use secure technology to protect your personal and payment information.
Shipping & Delivery
We deliver nationwide across South Africa through our network of courier partners. Delivery times and costs may vary depending on your location (major city centres vs. outlying areas).
Delivery typically takes 2-5 business days after your order (and prescription, if applicable) is verified and processed. Deliveries to major cities are usually faster than to remote areas. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size/weight. We may offer free delivery for orders above a certain value – check our shipping policy page for current details.
Yes, once your order has been dispatched by the pharmacy via courier, you will receive an email or SMS with tracking details, allowing you to monitor its progress.
Products & Returns
Absolutely. All medications listed on OnlynPharmacy are sourced and dispensed by licensed South African pharmacies, ensuring they are genuine and meet strict quality standards set by SAHPRA (South African Health Products Regulatory Authority).
Due to health regulations, dispensed medication generally cannot be returned. However, if there is an error with your order (e.g., wrong item, damaged product), please contact our customer support immediately within 48 hours of receipt so we can resolve the issue.
